OUR SUPPLY CHAINS

The “California Transparency in Supply Chains Act” became law on January 1, 2012 for the purpose of prompting California retailers and manufacturers to focus on the elimination of slavery and human trafficking among its third party suppliers and throughout its entire company. MGA supports this effort and proudly complies with the Act, specifically as follows:

  1. We prohibit all manufactures and licensee’s manufacturers from utilizing any forced or child labor of any kind, and third parties are utilized to verify compliance.
  2. We send independent auditors to inspect factories with which we contract, to ensure compliance with our Code of Conduct specifically prohibiting forced labor.
  3. Our direct suppliers certify by contract that they comply with all applicable laws of the country or countries in which they are doing business.
  4. We maintain internal accountability standards for employees or contractors failing to meet company standards regarding slavery and trafficking.
  5. We make sure that our employees who work with supply chain management are educated and aware of slavery and human trafficking risks.
